Tempany Deckert has been performing since she was ten years old! She trained at a youth theatre in Melbourne for six years and then hit the ‘Big Apple’ for her adult training. Her acting experiences have taken her on many adventures. At ten years of age, she began acting professionally in film, television and theatre. At sixteen years of age, she scored a lead role in Australia’s hugely popular TV show, 'Home and Away'.
Becoming a household name as a child star opened many doors for Tempany. She was not only carving a great path for her acting career, but she was also modelling for photo shoots, presenting TV shows and major events, travelling all over the country and the world for publicity appearances and, last but not least, starting her adult career surrounded with many talented and famous people.

While living in New York City at 19 years of age, Tempany was trained by some of the best theatre actors in the world. Hanging out at Madonna’s parties in the famed Kit Kat Club wasn’t too bad either! Many a star threw a tantrum or performed a good deed in front of Ms Deckert and all of these telling tales now begin to seep out in her new series, The Shooting Stars.
