Tom Champion's high school biology and history teachers always described his writing style as ‘inappropriate'and ‘inefficient', so he decided to pursue a writing career. After dabbling in modelling, translation and ESL teaching, Tom's relationship with words turned possessive. Of Swedish background, Tom's writing flair appears to be genetic as he forms a third generation of published authors/illustrators.
Currently completing his degree at the University of Sydney , Tom's interest in French language earned him a scholarship to study in Paris. Speaking fluent French and competent Hungarian has helped him appreciate the English language, which is expressed in Tom's quixotic and refreshing writing style.
