Gift of Reading

Teachers need more books in their classrooms, and they appreciate the gift of books through the Gift of Reading program. Purchasing books to present to a classroom is a great way to thank your child’s teacher.

Classroom Wish List Each teacher has an opportunity to preview the Book Fair and create a Wish List of books they need for their classrooms. Teachers select individual titles, book sets from a popular series, or book collections for their classroom. By purchasing these books, you give teachers the opportunity to have the newest and best books on their classroom bookshelves.

Gift Certificates
Purchase gift certificates for your children, teachers, Book Fair volunteers, other students, or anyone else. Gift certificates are available in any denomination. They’re convenient, easy to use and the perfect solution for parents and grandparents who are unable to attend the Book Fair.

Here's How the Gift of Reading Program Works:

• Look for the ‘Give the Gift of Reading’ display area at the Book Fair.
• Find the name of the teacher, student, volunteer, or any other gift recipient.
• Choose from the books they wished for or purchase a gift certificate.
• At the cashier, you may personalise the book by adding a special bookplate inside the book cover.

Volunteer Opportunity
You can help your Book Fair Chairperson by co-ordinating the Gift of Reading program.
