About Book Fairs

A Book Fair is a special reading event that is held at schools throughout the country where kids get to shop for their very own books!

A Book Fair . . .

• Is like a mini-bookshop that contains the newest and most exciting books.

• Helps schools earn profit and books for their classrooms.

• Adds the newest and best books of the year to the school library.

• Has affordable books in every price range and reading level.

• Is solely staffed by school volunteers. Check with your school's Book Fair chairperson to see how you can help.

• Gives you and your child a chance to have fun choosing books together.

Most of all, a Book Fair is a FUN event for your child — one more step in ensuring that they become a lifelong reader.
