Welcome to ClassroomsCare 2012!
Classrooms across the country are invited to participate in the Scholastic Book Clubs' ClassroomsCare challenge - a reading program unlike any other.
We are challenging classrooms across Australia to read 100 books. For each class that completes the challenge by 24 September 2012, Scholastic Book Clubs will donate 100 new books* to kids in need around Australia.
Since 2006, Scholastic has donated up to 370,000 books through the ClassroomsCare program to children and communities in need!
Our literacy partners, Learning Links, The Pyjama Foundation and The Smith Family deliver the books directly into the hands of children who need them most!
Let's start Reading and Giving!
Here's How:
| 1. | Read, Read, Read! | |
| Get your class to read 100 books by 24 September 2012. | ||
| 2. | Keep Track! | |
| Display your classroom tracking poster (free with Issue 4 orders) in your classroom to motivate your students towards the 100-book goal. | ||
| 3. | Tell us when you’ve reached your goal! | |
| Request a free ClassroomCare Certificate by selecting the item on your TBS order form, Issue 5 or 6. |
PLUS! The first 1000 classes to reach their goal will receive a CBCA award-winning book for their classroom library!
To claim your CBCA book, be one of the first 1000 classes to request a ClassroomsCare Certificate via the TBS order form.
Visit the Hall of Fame to see which classrooms met their reading goal and made a difference in the lives of children around Australia!
*Up to 10,000 books.
