Thanks for giving us the opportunity to do something nice for someone!

Every student at Chapman Primary School in Canberra took on the ClassroomsCare project again in 2011 with much enthusiasm and dedication. We all enjoyed reading books so others could have the same opportunity. Through our efforts Chapman has donated over two thousand books to families in need across Australia. We valued the generosity shown to our community during the Canberra bush fires many years ago and are always happy to contribute to help and support other children in need.

We hope that these children enjoy reading their new books as much as we enjoyed reading them. Our thanks go to Scholastic for creating such a wonderful opportunity for us to participate in.

They were very enthusiastic readers and what I really loved about it was that they were so keen to reach the target even though they weren't getting anything for themselves. So many fundraisers and similar events are driven by offering the students a gift for participation, but this one didn't need it. They loved the challenge and were proud to reach it so quickly. Thanks for providing this opportunity and supporting kids in need of books.
