St Benedicts, Burwood, Grade 1/2B.
Grade 1/2B were very dedicated to read their 100 books for such a good cause. We love to read and wanted other children to experience all the joy and pleasure we get from reading beautiful books. The children read at school and at home and we had our 100 books read in less than 3 weeks!
Some children read 2 or 3 books at night as well as often as they could at school.


St Brendan's Primary School

The children in the senior classroom from St Brendan's Primary School, Coragulac, Victoria, have been busy reading a variety of books and are happy to achieve our goal of 100 books for Term 2. St Columba’s Memorial School

The 2/3/4 Class at St Columba’s Memorial School at Yorketown in South Australia are keen readers and have finished their 100 books very quickly. In 2G at St. Kevin's Primary School we love to read. We have had a fantastic time reading 100 books to try to help others. We read lots of picture books and novels and have learnt lots along the way. We hope that the children who receive the books have as much fun as we have had!

St Mary's Primary School

Room 2 at St Mary's Primary school in Mansfield got into the challenge of reading 100 books to help kids in need. The children really enjoyed quite reading time and were enthusiastic about making a difference to those children in need. The stars went up quickly and before we new it, our goal had been reached. St Marys Public School

With great pleasure, Year 2 at St. Mary's Primary, North Sydney, took on the challenge of reading 100 books for charity. They wanted to achieve this as quickly as possible. Each morning the children signed their initials on the chart for any books they had completed the evening before. On the last day of term 2, we had reached 99 books, so together we read a class book and celebrated being part of Classrooms Care.

St.Patrick's School

Accepting the Scholastic challenge at the beginning of August and finishing before the September holidays (with a week to spare), LG4 (Year 5/6) at St.Patrick's School, Nanango are very proud to have completed the ClassroomsCare! challenge. We think we are very lucky at St.Pat’s to have such a great books to read and we thank Scholastic for the opportunity to share our love of reading with other children who aren't as fortunate as us.

St John Bosco School Nicki Sharrad, teacher at St John Bosco School in SA, writes: “I am writing to let you know that our 1/2S class at St John Bosco School at Brooklyn Park has just completed reading 100 books! The children were very excited at the thought of helping others, just by reading books themselves. They were so keen that it took just under a week to complete the chart! We read books as a class, during silent reading, when they went to the library, at home and even when they finished their work they read a book! Thank you for giving us this opportunity of reading books so other children in need can receive books. Here is our brilliant reading class of Year 1/2 children. Many thanks again!”

St Joseph's

The students from Yr 1 and Yr 4 at St Joseph's, West Tamworth, NSW, excitedly read their one hundred books and are extremely proud of themselves. We learnt that by working together 100 books wasn't as hard as we thought.

We are a year five class from St Kevin's Primary School on the Gold Coast and have enjoyed reading the 100 books. It's been fun because we had to read lots of different kinds of books with lots of different adventures. We are glad and happy that we have made a difference to children that aren't as lucky as us to have books to read whenever they like.

What a great idea! Everybody in our Year 2 class at The Scots School Albury, NSW, worked together to reach our goal of reading 100 books to help others. Now we'd like to read another 100 books!

The year Five class of The Springfield College, QLD, are happy to announce their achievement of reading 100 books. Thank you to Josh for his dedication and commitment to this task. The class are pleased that their enthusiasm for reading has helped others less fortunate then themselves. They have set a new target and challenged other classes in the school to read another 100 books but in a shorter time.

Taree West Public School

KG from Taree West Public School in NSW recently completed reading their 100 ClassroomsCare books. KG were thrilled to receive their special certificates and bookmarks presented to them in class. We have used weekly home reading and classroom reading to help us achieve our target. The children have been enthusiastic throughout the program and have looked forward to helping other children. Taroona Primary

The Grade 5/6 class at Taroona Primary, TAS, took great pleasure in reading for such a great cause. In fact, they thought it was such a wonderful idea they read 200 books and coloured in 200 hearts! We are the students in the Support Unit at Temora High School, NSW. We read 100 books in 4 weeks. We are very happy to help out others who are less fortunate that ourselves.

We are 4G from Truscott Street Public School in North Ryde. We enjoyed reading a variety of books and easily reached the target of 100. We were all happy to help other kids get some great books to read and hope that they enjoy reading them as much as we have.

Yarraman P-10 State School

The year 2/3 class from Yarraman P-10 State School in QLD, were very happy to help children that may not get the chance to see a lot of lovely books. For every book we read, we write the title of the book and display it in our room. It was exciting colouring in the 100th heart on our chart. We are going to continue displaying book titles and hope to reach 300 by the end of the year.
