ClassroomsCare is a classroom reading program designed to teach children about the joys of reading and giving.

For each class that reads 100 books by 2 October 2009, Scholastic Book Clubs will donate 100 new books* to one of its charity partners.

The charity partners are The Smith Family, Learning Links and Education Foundation.

Each of these organisations is distributing the books to children in under-resourced schools and communities.

*Up to 50,000 books.
