ORDER FORMS

BC News

Order forms are now located in your Teacher Guide!

IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE:

  • Combining your orders. Most teachers order from more than one Club (e.g. Lucky + Special Offer + TBS). To maximise your rewards, combine the totals from each Club on one order form, and calculate your rewards based on that!

  • TBS order forms. The only TBS order form is on the back of TBS. If ordering by mail or fax, you may return that form to Scholastic for processing.

  • Remember, the easiest ways to order are online and by phone!

  • Mailed orders. If you want to mail your order, you must trim the left hand column from each page in order to fit it into the envelope provided.

  • Faxed orders.

If you want to fax your orders, please be sure to:

    1. Cut order form as indicated and fax as two pages.
    2. Complete the Book Club fax cover sheet that you can download here. Please put your customer number on every faxed page.

Customer Number

Scholastic Australia assigns a unique Customer Number to each of its customers. This number helps us to identify you and is located on the front and back covers of your Book Club News/Order Form booklet, at the top right-hand corner of each class Order Form, and near the top of all Tax Invoices and Payment Advice notes. This number consists of six digits.

Book Club Tax Invoice

A Book Club Tax Invoice is included in every class order.

All pertinent information regarding the contents of the class order and the incentives you have earned on the current order are listed here.

Book Club Payment Advice

A Book Club Payment Advice note is included in every order.

It includes:

  • Amount paid to date - can be used as a receipt
  • Bonus coupon - if eligible
  • Remittance Advice notes which can be removed and returned with payment

It summarises the value of all class orders from that school and shows payments made to date and a balance outstanding.

The bottom part of the note is a detachable remittance advice note.

Consolation

Occasionally, Scholastic Australia is unable to provide an ordered item at the time your order is being shipped. In these instances, the student would be sent a Consolation item (ie another title that we feel is appropriate for the age and reading level of the student). This situation could arise if (a) the original item is on backorder and will be received at a later date or (b) the original product is no longer available. If the latter were the case, we would issue a Book Club Credit Voucher for the customer, to the value of the product. We will also provide a consolation title, along with a letter explaining the situation. Consolation items are only provided for items featured in the student brochures.

Book Club Credit Voucher

As mentioned above, if an item has become unavailable, Scholastic Australia reimburses the customer by sending them a Book Club Credit Voucher for the full amount of the unavailable item they ordered. In most cases, a Consolation item will accompany this Voucher.
